Progress
I’m Giuseppe, Chief Data Officer at E23. I came to data from mathematics, and I still approach every system the same way: find the structure first, then build.
At E23 I designed and directed the platform that profiles airport passengers for retail, from the pipelines to the dashboards our clients use every day. Today I’m extending that work into AI engineering, with agents that run part of the company’s operations.

What I work on
Data platforms
Pipelines, storage and data models that hold up in production: Python, SQL and PostgreSQL on AWS, with Parquet, Spark or Kafka when the volume asks for them.
Analytics engineering
Tested dbt models, data contracts and a semantic layer, so every number on a dashboard has a definition behind it and a check in front of it.
AI systems
Multi-agent systems built on Claude and MCP, measured against human judgement, with a person approving every action that leaves the system.
Business & product
Requirements, proposals and roadmap: sitting with clients, turning their questions into data products and explaining trade-offs in plain language.

Beyond the code
In a startup the data lead is also in the room with the client. I turn business questions into data products, shape the roadmap with the team, and explain trade-offs in plain language to people who will never read a line of SQL.
Beyond the work
Away from the screen I’m usually somewhere with a backpack: travelling, trekking, looking for the next trail. At home there’s a piano, where the same patience for structure turns into music.
